We are pleased to inform you that Preformed Line Products (PLP) has completed the acquisition of HOLPLAST s.r.o. based in the industrial zone of Prostějov in the Czech Republic. With this step, it strengthens not only its active presence in the region, but also its business activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). HOLPLAST thus joins Micos Telcom, which is building a Center of Excellence in the field of optical telecommunications. Micos Telcom concentrates the development of new products for optical networks in its company in Prostějov and at the same time ensures their production.

HOLPLAST is a company focusing on the production of plastic products for the automotive and electrical engineering industries. By further investing in production capacity expansion, PLP wants to meet the needs of its customers in EMEA and provide them with faster product delivery, and expand its portfolio of components for next-generation high-speed access networks, such as 5G networks.

With this step, PLP gives a clear signal of trust to experienced employees of Micos Telcom and HOLPLAST and to the Czech business environment. For the Prostějov district, PLP investment means creating a stable production program with final products for the modern digital industry.
